Instructions for REI2 firmware upgrade

With the present document you will receive the file "Rei2_Vx_xx.exe"  wich contains the necessaries files for the upgrade of the firmware of your REI2.
The step you need to perform are:
 
1) Connect with cable REI2-PC the Computer serial port (COM1 or COM2) to the amphenol connector called "Computer A" on the REI2.
2) Switch on the REI2 by pressing the function buttons F1 F2 F3 simultaneosly.
3) REI2 will start in programming mode showing the following strings:

4) Double click on file "Rei2_Vx_xx.exe" .
5) The downloading procedure starts.
6) Wait until the following display will be shown:

       |              RESET Rei2 to restart           |
       |                                              |

7) Open the printer and press the reset button for 2 seconds.
8) REI2 will start in normal mode. 
9) After the syncronization or the prosecution without syncronization you must see the following message

10) If you do not see the message please procede with a global clear of the memory and a subsequent reset.
